5 Things Every Traveler Should Have in His Bag

It’s not rare that you enter your hotel room at your preferred destination, and you open your backpack or suitcase just to realize something’s missing. One of the things that can make us lose our minds is forgetting to pack something that we really do need for our trip. But there is something slightly less bad – forgetting to pack the things that could make our stay there more tolerable and more comfortable. Surely some things simply slip our minds, but that’s why we’re here – to make your next trip, or your next gaycation, a better one. Take a look at five things that you should always put on the top of your packing list.

1. A backpack for your sightseeing tour

What is the first thing that you do when you start packing? Take out your suitcase and your backpack of course. If you’re traveling on a budget, this is an even bigger imperative. You can put so many different things in your backpack and also take it with you on the plane. This is why one of the things you should take with you is a good backpack which you will use to carry the things that you need for your sightseeing tour. These include your documents, phone, any other equipment that you might need (such as a charger or a camera) and a hoodie or a light jacket in case the weather turns cold.

2. A portable charger

Everything’s on your mobile phone. It doesn’t matter where you’re going and what you’re doing, you will constantly be using your mobile phone, especially if you go on a trip. First off – you will be using the maps on your smartphone, along with the browser that you will use to explore different restaurants, museum and clubs. Not to mention that you will need it for apps such as Grindr or Tinder, and your camera. If you’re an Instagram junkie, add photo editing apps to the mix. That’s why it’s always good to have a good 20000 mAh power bank in your backpack – so that you never have to worry about your battery. Your phone on battery saving mode will not actually ruin your trip, but it’s such a good feeling when you have that backup in your bag.

3. Universal adaptor

Frequent travelers know the struggle when you cannot plug in a device that you brought because of the different power outlet. A universal adaptor can save your life, or in this case, the life of the device that you want to use or charge. Adaptors such as these do not take up a lot of space but are incredibly valuable on trips. Make sure you use a high-quality one, though, as you don’t want it to die or cause any damage to your device and the power outlet.

4. Waterproof shoes

As far as footwear is concerned, we always pack depending on the destination that we’re going to. But we all know how weather can be unpredictable, so it’s always better to have a pair of shoes that you can wear even when it’s raining or when the temperature drops. Since you might not want to bring 100% waterproof shoes, make sure that you have the ones that you usually wear when the weather is uncertain. Remember all the times when you had your feet soaked because the rain caught you off guard; you surely dislike the feeling so this is the way to be one step ahead.

5. Sexy lingerie

Last, but certainly not the least, bring your sexy underwear or your jockstrap wherever you’re going (this is especially important if you’re single and the only thing you want to do is mingle). Never buy underwear at the destination, but rather take it from home, freshly washed and ready to be used. As far as condoms are concerned, well, you can buy them practically anywhere.

None of these items are groundbreaking, but all of these can make your stay wherever it is you’re going much more enjoyable. They do not cost a lot but are worth every penny, so make sure you have them (especially if you’re using them at home) and pack them first so as not to forget them.

Have a nice trip!
