Iceland is one of my favorite countries in the world. I traveled there with a friend during the heart of winter a few years ago, with a goal of seeing the illusive Northern Lights. While we didn't get to see this natural wonder, we loved exploring Reykjavik and meeting the friendly people of Iceland.
