Join a Free Eco-Tour: The Martin County Office of Tourism of Marketing recently launched their new ecotourism program, Explore Natural Martin, in partnership with Leave No Trace. As a first in Florida, this exciting collaborative program actively promotes sustainable tourism practices across the destination with a focus on environmental stewardship, responsible outdoor recreation, and education. Visitors can take advantage of the program by registering for free guided eco-tours, led by Leave No Trace Master Educator Emily Dark. Cool off with Craft Beer and Cocktails: Some brand-new additions to Martin County’s craft beverage scene have just opened their doors ahead of summer. The first is Muscle Craft Distillery, located in the heart of Historic Downtown Stuart. Muscle Craft’s debut marks the first distillery to open its doors in Martin County. It was founded by Grace Gillespie, an accomplished personal trainer, fitness competitor, and Fitness Nutritionist. Muscle Craft Distillery is one of just a handful of woman-owned distilleries in the country. The second addition is Frazier Creek Brewing & Distilling Co. Martin County’s first modern-age “brewstillery,” they offer their own locally-inspired lineup of beers, seltzers, sodas, spirits, and cocktails – perfect for beating the summer heat. Both are being added to the interactive Treasure Coast Wine & Ale Trail, a regional partnership between the 3 Treasure Coast counties


Embark on Aquatic Adventures: Water is a way of life in Martin County and there are countless water-based experienced for visitors of all ages. Treasure Coast Sailing Adventures has introduced two new vessels: the Marshall 22 “Margot” 6-passener catboat, and the 15-passenger “Resolute” friendship sloop. They offer a range of unique sailing experiences, including sunset sails, morning cruises, and adventure discovery tours. With local diving experts on hand, such as Kirk’s Dive & Surf, Stuart Scuba, or Deep Six Dive & Watersports, you can explore underwater wonders, artificial reefs, and even the Georges Valentine Shipwreck site. Work with the pros during a stand-up paddle tour led by outfitters like Paddle Social Florida or a customized surfing lesson with Ohana Surf Shop. You can even learn to waterski with experts at the Hobe Lake Ski Club.


Experience One-of-a-Kind Events: With a collection of nine distinct communities, there’s no shortage of fun events to experience all summer long. From the inviting waterfront downtown districts of Jensen Beach and Stuart to the rugged wilds of Indiantown, there’s something for everyone. Check out the ever-changing calendar of events to see what’s on the horizon. Dance parties, weekly festivals, car shows, First Friday Art Walks, summer concert series, musicals, and so much more are waiting for you all summer long!



Explore Uncrowded Beaches: If you’re looking to soak up the sun, there’s no better place than Martin County. The destination boasts more than 22 miles of uncrowded beaches, thanks to a county-wide, 4-story height restriction (which is extremely rare in the Sunshine State), so there aren’t any towering hotels or skyscrapers overshadowing our shores or obstructing views. From private dog-friendly stretches of sand to life-guarded protected beaches with all the amenities you could ever wish for, there’s a spot for everyone. Our public beaches are also open 24/7, are alcohol friendly, and offer free parking and entry! To better assist beachgoers with mobility challenges, Martin County recently introduced a fleet of rolling beach wheelchairs. These durable wheelchairs can be borrowed (free of charge) from the lifeguard stations at three popular beaches: Jensen Sea Turtle Beach, Stuart Beach, and Hobe Sound Beach. All of Martin County’s public beaches have ADA compliant boardwalks and ramps to the beach, as well as multiple accessible parking options.
