At the heart of it all is Resplendent Dreams: Reawakening the Rococo, a new exhibition at Newfields spotlighting contemporary artists who breathe bold, modern life into a historically lavish style. Whether you're exploring art, cruising the Cultural Trail, or catching live music at The Alley, Indy invites you to discover beauty in every corner.

Newfields: THE LUME and Resplendent Dreams – Reawakening the Rococo

Newfields, a 152-acre campus that includes the Virginia B. Fairbanks Art & Nature Park and the Indianapolis Museum of Art, is where nature, culture, and creativity intersect. The campus hosts an array of events, exhibitions, and tours year-round.

One of its most beloved attractions is THE LUME, an immersive art gallery that uses multi-sensory technology to create a one-of-a-kind visual experience.

Newfields recently debuted (as of June 6) Resplendent Dreams: Reawakening the Rococo, an exhibition featuring contemporary queer artists Robert Horvath, Diego Montoya, and Anthony Sonnenberg. Their work draws inspiration from the ornate, playful Rococo movement of 18th-century Europe, blending historical influence with bold modern expression.

Indianapolis Indians Pride Night

Join the Indianapolis Indians for their second annual Pride Night on Thursday, August 28 at Victory Field. The evening kicks off with a pregame concert by the Pride of Indy Bands and continues with live music post-game and Thirsty Thursday drink specials. It’s a vibrant celebration of community, inclusivity, and summer baseball.

Indianapolis Cultural Trail Tours

Discover Indy outdoors with guided tours and bike rides along the Indianapolis Cultural Trail.

• First Saturdays at 10 AM: A 2–3 hour guided bike tour ($45), including a Pacers Bikeshare bike rental.

• Thursdays at 5:30 PM: No Spandex Required—a free weekly group ride through the Trail and local breweries (2–2.5 hours).

• Last Saturdays at 10 AM: Bikes and Bakeries Ride—a free tour with stops at local bakeries.
