With 2023 coming to a close, all eyes are on where to go in 2024. Located in the heart of the Bluegrass State, Bardstown, Kentucky offers both small-town charm and the ultimate bourbon getaway. Nestled in the central Kentucky countryside, the rolling hills and lush greenery that surround Bardstown provide a serene escape for bourbon lovers and novices alike. With 11 unique distillery experiences within 16 square miles of downtown, Bardstown is rightfully known as the Bourbon Capital of the World but offers so much more.

Some highlights of What's New in 2024 include:


In 2024, seven award-winning distilleries will release the third-annual Bardstown Collection, a one-of-a-kind bourbon series. Each of the participating distilleries will have a hand-selected, premium bourbon available only on-site. For a taste of this exclusive bottled collection, visitors can purchase release party tickets for Summer 2024 or join Mint Julep Transportation for an immersive tour and tasting.


The newly opened Bardstown Motor Lodge is a retro motel-style hotel along the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. It offers authentic charm, with guest rooms that seamlessly connect to outdoor spaces featuring fire pits, a swimming pool, a poolside bar, and a retro-styled rec room. The lodge evokes memories of summer camps and road trips with friends and family. Toogie's Table, the on-site restaurant, serves delicious food and drinks that celebrate the rich history of the Bluegrass region.


Renowned chef David Danielson joined Log Still Distillery as executive chef and food and beverage director. Chef Danielson brings more than 30 years of experience in the culinary and hospitality industries, most recently serving as the executive chef for Churchill Downs Racetrack and Levy Restaurants. Don’t miss his unique beverage and dining experiences at Log Still’s amenities this year.
