Celebrate Pride and Flavor in the Desert: Palm Springs Pride Returns November 6–9

Palm Springs Pride

This fall, the desert comes alive with color, music, and community as Palm Springs Pride returns November 6–9. As one of the region’s most vibrant and inclusive celebrations, Pride is the perfect opportunity to experience the city’s welcoming spirit and thriving LGBTQ+ scene.

This year’s theme, “Be Heard,” encourages diversity, unity, and creative self-expression across a variety of exciting events. Highlights include the lively Arenas District Block Party, the Front Runners Pride 5K and Walk, the Sordid Lives 25th Anniversary Benefit Screening, and the Sunset Music & Comedy Festival. The celebration culminates on Sunday, November 9, with the annual Pride Parade—a dazzling display of color and joy that winds through the heart of downtown Palm Springs.

Before Pride festivities officially begin, visitors can indulge their sweet side at the inaugural Scoop Palm Springs Ice Cream Festival on November 2. Benefiting the LGBTQ Center’s Community Food Bank, which serves over 350 families each week, the festival promises a day of flavor, fun, and philanthropy. Guests can sample more than 50 unique ice cream and gelato flavors from over 20 local vendors—including Handel’s, Saffron Restaurant, and Shake Shack—while enjoying live music, interactive art experiences, and even custom-engraved ice cream bowls. A kids’ art area, hosted by the Palm Springs Art Museum, will add a creative touch for families attending the event.

From the sweet beginnings of Scoop Palm Springs to the powerful Pride Parade finale, this November offers a celebration of community, creativity, and connection under the desert sun.
