The hotel will feature 81 spacious guest rooms, 36 with private open-air balconies and 31 spacious 450-square-foot studio suites. The newly remodeled longtime neighborhood icon Firefly Kitchen + Bar will offer creative mixology and new American Cuisine, serving as a refreshed social hub for locals and guests alike. The hotel will boast an intimate layout of only nine guest rooms per level, with each floor having complimentary sparkling and still water filling stations. Designed for the social and professional affluent traveler, the reinvigorated guest rooms will include mobile desks, 55-inch HDTVs with integrated streaming, and Bluetooth speakers with charging ports and wireless charging capability. Hotel Madera’s design elements incorporate calming colors and compelling textures for a purposeful juxtaposition of whimsy and refinement, melding the classic with the unexpected to play off the energy of surrounding Dupont Circle, yet in a serene and calming setting. Art on display throughout the hotel will feature notes of wit and creativity, which when combined with technological enhancements, address the complex, layered nature of the Hotel Madera guest.
