Come kick off Fort William Historical Park’s 50th Anniversary while celebrating the New Year during the fort’s New Year’s Eve Family Frolic. Between 4 and 8 pm, everyone can enjoy various indoor and outdoor activities, including forging demonstrations, glow-in-the-dark activities, crafts, live music, and much more. New Year’s will be welcomed with a cannon salute by historical characters on the main wharf.
For those over 19, who want to enjoy music and dancing, visit one of Thunder Bay's bars and nightclubs filled for those who want to ring in the New Year with a drink. Those wanting a more intimate setting can enjoy a nice relaxing dinner at any number of local restaurants or take it to go and enjoy it elsewhere.
