Celebrate this Winter in Knoxville

Knoxville is a nature-loving-adventure-seeking-artsy-kinda town, and none of that stops just because the temperature drops. Winter is a beautiful time in East Tennessee with lots to do and lots to see!

All adventures start with caffeination, so warm up with a cup of coffee before you head out. Knoxville has coffee shops on every corner from quick grab n go’s to places you’ll want to lounge. South Press is one of those – don’t you want to curl up in the winter window sunlight with a latte? Once you get going, you’ll have a variety of outdoor activities to keep that blood pumping and stay warm. How about a crisp hike around a quarry?

If you’re planning on bringing the kids, an itinerary is easy to put together. Shoot hoops in the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame, admire the exceptional Higher Ground exhibition at the Knoxville Museum of Art, or watch tigers and red pandas prowl in the snow at Zoo Knoxville.

Those looking for a weekend couple’s getaway for foodies will find their itinerary a bit more difficult – only because there’s so many options and so little time! From sunny brunches to decadent dinners, from Ale Trail hopping to cocktail sipping, we’re just warming up. Let’s get this party started in Knoxville!
