Dallas is ready to shine this holiday season with dazzling light displays, festive cultural experiences, and plenty of opportunities for LGBTQ+ travelers to celebrate. One of the season's biggest highlights is Holiday at the Arboretum (November 11, 2026 – January 3, 2027), where visitors can experience the beloved 12 Days of Christmas gazebos for the final time after a 12-year run. The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden will also feature its charming European-inspired Christmas Village, beautifully decorated DeGolyer House, seasonal entertainment, and illuminated gardens. Another must-see is Dallas Zoo Lights (November 13, 2026 – January 3, 2027, on select nights), transforming the Dallas Zoo into a glowing winter wonderland with more than two million lights, dazzling lanterns, larger-than-life displays, festive treats, and holiday photo opportunities.

Dallas' thriving arts and culture scene adds even more magic to the season. The AT&T Performing Arts Center will host its free Reliant Lights Your Holidays celebration on December 5, featuring fireworks, live entertainment, a holiday market, real snow, and festive activities throughout Sammons Park. Visitors can also enjoy seasonal performances, including Texas Ballet Theater's The Nutcracker (November 27–December 6), Dallas Theater Center's A Christmas Carol (November 27–December 27), and A Drag Queen Christmas at the Winspear Opera House on December 20, bringing a fabulous LGBTQ+ twist to the holiday stage.
