The holiday spirit shines brightly in Malta as Fairyland returns from December 5, 2025, through January 2026, bringing an expanded lineup of festivities and attractions to the Mediterranean archipelago.
With a sprinkle of Christmas magic and the help of Santa and his elves, Pjazza Tritoni in Valletta transforms into Santa’s City, a festive wonderland filled with holiday cheer and Christmas attractions for all ages to enjoy. This year will be even grander, as Fairyland extends to the Granaries in Floriana and introduces four new experiences: the Candy Cane Slide, the Frosty Bike Circuit, Dasher’s Roundabout, and the Fantasia Tinsel Track.
Visitors can take in a bird’s-eye view of Malta’s capital and UNESCO World Heritage Site aboard Rudolph’s Wheel. They can also enjoy Christmas classics, from ice skating to browsing markets filled with local artisan goods. Across both Valletta and Floriana, the event brings together lights, music, entertainment and seasonal treats, creating a vibrant atmosphere for families, friends and holiday travelers.
“Fairyland is an embodiment of holiday spirit, and has become one of Malta’s most anticipated festive traditions. We are excited for this year’s expanded offerings, which reflect our commitment to creating unforgettable memories,” said Malta Tourism Authority CEO, Carlo Micallef. “We look forward to welcoming visitors from all over the world to experience the magic of Winter in Malta.”
Fairyland will be open daily throughout the season, offering a full program of activities and festive entertainment.
