Fall Festivities Come Alive in Dallas

Visit Dallas invites you to experience a few unforgettable LGBTQ+ events over the next several months, starting with Pride in Dallas from September 10 to 17. Our vibrant community welcomes everyone to come and celebrate diversity, acceptance, and love all week long, with the main event - the Pride Parade - held on September 17th. Also during that week is Texas Latino Pride Fest – September 16. Come and celebrate our Latinx and LGBTQ+ community in Texas with music, food and fun!

The biggest names in LGBTQ+ business and culture converge on Dallas September 22 to 24 for Unleashed LGBTQ+, the first ever live queer business conference and festival. The lineup includes speakers, panelists and performers such as Billy Eichner, Indya Moore, Antonio Porowski, Dyllón Burnside and many more!

Speaking of conferences, Visit Dallas is proud to be attending and serving as a sponsor for the IGLTA Global Convention in Puerto Rico October 4 to 7. We hope to see those registered at one of the many networking events or during the LGBTQ+ Tourism Expo. Stop by and say hello!

The events continue in October as Dallas once again plays host to the Black Tie Dinner, October 28. Since its inception in 1982, Black Tie Dinner has been the largest fundraising dinner for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) community in the nation. Each year, Black Tie Dinner selects up to 20 North Texas beneficiaries to receive dinner proceeds as well as the Human Rights Campaign Foundation, the Dinner's national beneficiary. To date, Black Tie Dinner has distributed over $25 million!

We close out Fall in Dallas with “the biggest street party in Texas”, the Dallas Halloween Block Party on Cedar Springs – October 28. Witches, goblins, and fairies unite for a haunting night filled with live DJs, drag performances, costume contests, delicious food, abundant beer, giveaways, and chilling refreshments. Dress up and let loose as we party into the night!
