GALTA, Australia’s LGBTQIA+ Travel Association, has refreshed and strengthened its national team following the organization's 2025 Annual General Meeting, positioning the membership body for an impactful year ahead in continuing to advocate for and elevate inclusive travel across the country. Members from across Australia joined the online AGM, where Louise Terry, Rod Stringer, Dennis Basham and Andrew Bartholomew were reappointed to the Board for a new term.
They continue alongside Ben Woodward and Mario Paez, who remain in their current terms, forming a nationally diverse Board with deep expertise across destination marketing, touring and attractions, strategy and partnerships, finance, aviation and community engagement. Following the AGM, the Board confirmed its portfolio responsibilities for 2026:
Louise Terry - President & Company Secretary
Mario Paez - Vice President & Community Group Liaison
Rod Stringer - Finance & Regional Representative Liaison
Dennis Basham - Membership & Social Media

Andrew Bartholomew - Corporate Partnerships
GALTA also acknowledged the ongoing commitment of its regional representatives who provide on-the-ground engagement and support across key destinations:

Louise Terry, President of GALTA said, “We are incredibly fortunate to have such a skilled, passionate and genuinely committed team driving GALTA forward.”
