Nestled on the shores of Lake Maggiore in Ascona, Switzerland, Hotel Eden Roc will undergo extensive renovations led by two Ticino designers and friends, Carlo Rampazzi and Fiorenzo Tresoldi, in 2025. Each area of the hotel's main building will be redone - elegant architecture and bright colors will accentuate the main building, with large windows and modern glass balustrades framing the breathtaking lake views. The property’s Garden of Eden will also enhance the hotel with its lush blooms, cozy seating areas, and direct access to the lake. Additionally, the property will unveil a new energy concept, which will allow for CO2-neutral energy supply by harnessing the natural temperature differences between lake and groundwater. The thermal balance will be controlled via lake and groundwater, and new windows as well as cooling and heating systems will bring about energy optimization. The hotel will also use energy from its own photovoltaic systems.
Located just a short walk from Ascona’s main piazza and with a prime lakefront location, Hotel Eden Roc is a luxurious getaway boasting 95 beautiful rooms and suites, a 21,500 square foot spa, a private beach and yacht harbor, and four Mediterranean-style restaurants, including the two Michelin-starred La Brezza. During a stay, travelers can spend their days relaxing by the pools, taking a boat out on the lake, visiting the Brissago Islands to see the botanical gardens, hiking up to the Monte Verita tea plantation, strolling the town’s winding streets, and more.
