About the “Will Not Be Erased” Campaign
The Will Not Be Erased campaign was created to ensure that pride, inclusion, and visibility remain firmly rooted in Jacksonville’s public spaces. Funds raised from the Art Dash will support vibrant new murals and art installations celebrating love, resilience, and community pride, particularly in areas where LGBTQ+ individuals live, work, and gather.
Initial projects are already in the planning stages, including murals on Lomax Street in Five Points, at InCahoots in Brooklyn, and at Hardwicks downtown. While these large-scale works require significant funding, smaller art pieces and projects will be completed along the way as fundraising continues.
