Pride Journeys Ecotourism: Iceland

Updated: Aug 13, 2020

Hidden Iceland's glacier hikes explore the surface of an ever moving glacier. Vast ice sculptures change daily as the glacier moves slowly down from the mountain peak that created it. The ice cave tours in winter uncover the inner workings of the ice in all its brilliant blue tones. Both of these incredible sites are within the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Vatnajökull National Park. With the help of our expert guides we can teach our customers about the effects of climate change already being seen through the melting ice in Iceland. These climate neutral tours are as educational as they are adventurous. Learning that the glaciers have melted more in the past 20 years than in the previous 200 years is a sobering thought but it also adds to your unique experience while in Iceland, leaving you permanently changed.
