On the accommodations front, the Holiday Inn Express and Suites in Rehoboth Beach has added a Woof Wall to its pet-friendly amenities! Upon arrival, furry friends receive treats and a photo is taken and personalized with your pet’s name, which is then displayed on the “Woof Wall.” When your furry friend returns for the fourth time, their pet fee is waived for one night.


Located in downtown Rehoboth Beach, Coast Rehoboth Beach, Tapestry Collection by Hilton is a relatively new property less than a mile from Rehoboth Beach & Boardwalk and Funland. The property has an Indoor pool, fitness center, restaurant, and bar and an onsite restaurant called Sirocco which showcases uncomplicated Mediterranean cuisine highlighted with the season’s freshest local ingredients.


Opening this spring are the Cambria Hotel Rehoboth Beach and the Staybridge Suites Rehoboth Beach.


Events this spring include sidewalk sales in Lewes and Rehoboth Beach and the annual British Motorcar Show in Lewes the weekend of May 3. Dewey Beach goes to the dogs the weekend of May 10 with the Dewey Beach Golden Jubilee, and food fanatics will drool over tickets to the 10th Annual Top Chef of the Culinary Coast event on May 15. A few days later, the Rehoboth Arts Festival opens on May 18 and the Poseidon Festival in Bethany Beach takes place from May 24 – 26. Then the Horseshoe Crab and Shorebird Festival Returns to Milton on May 25. Coastal Delaware Restaurant Week starts on June 2 and the Lewes Garden Tour will be June 15.
