Southwest’s Inaugural Service into Palm Springs begins Nov. 15

Once again, Palm Springs International Airport (PSP) looks forward to adjusting its flight schedule as the destination welcomes Southwest Airlines, which makes its debut to Greater Palm Springs with year-round service from Oakland, CA; Phoenix, AZ; and Denver, CO starting next Sunday, Nov. 15.

All fights will be nonstop with service between Palm Springs and Oakland offered twice daily, Phoenix three times daily, and Denver once daily.

The increased air service with these three routes is in addition to six new markets recently announced, which includes Boise, ID; Reno, NV; San Jose, CA; Eugene, OR; Fort Lauderdale, FL; and Philadelphia, PA. Additionally, service from Toronto and Calgary, Canada has recently resumed via Air Canada and WestJet, respectively.

“We’ve long-awaited welcoming Southwest Airlines to Greater Palm Springs and I’m thrilled to see this partnership come to fruition. Their iconic brand as well as the markets they serve are in great alignment with our resort oasis," said Scott White, president and CEO of the Greater Palm Springs Convention & Visitors Bureau.
