Summertime isn’t the only season for festivals and events. Check out all of the amazing things going on in Flint this fall. On the weekend after Labor Day, Goodstock – a festival hosted by The Good Beans Cafe, a local LGBTQ+-friendly cafe in Flint, will be back. The event features music, vendors, and art, and is a great way to get immersed in the culture of the city. For more fall fun, Spicer Orchard in Fenton and Applewood Estate in Flint are both hosting fall festivals with apples, music, and more.
Another fun way to spend a night in Flint is at the Longway Planetarium. The largest planetarium in Michigan performs laser light shows. This fall, artists featured include Queen and Pink Floyd.
For more entertainment, the FIM Capitol Theatre in downtown Flint is bringing in some big acts this fall. Comedian Luenell is hitting the stage in September, and later that month, Kool & the Gang are playing. In October, Patton Oswalt is performing, and also a showing of Ghostbusters (1984) with a live shadowcast. Finally, in November, see Ben Folds & A Piano and Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox – Magic, Moonlight and Mistletoe Tour. For information on these shows are more, visit TheFIM.org/capitol-theatre.
