Virgin Hotel Nashville Celebrates Pride with Rooftop Parties, Drag Brunches, and More

As the official host hotel of Nashville Pride, Virgin Hotels Nashville is celebrating Pride Month with a variety of events that praise love and inclusivity. To kick off the celebration, the hotel is partnering with event producer Deryck Todd to bring back Bath & Body, a rooftop pool party at The Pool Club featuring DJ entertainment, drag performances, and much more.

The event will take place on Saturday, June 1 and will feature an appearance and special performance from special guest Naomi Smalls, a beloved contestant from RuPaul’s Drag Race. There will also be drag performances by Nashville artists Cya Inhale, Zxa, Spectra Cosmos, Nashville Cheer, Cordelia Facade, Justine Van De Balir, and Chaz Sanders. Hosts for the evening’s revelry include LGBTQ+ activist and local icon Vidalia Anne Gentry along with Bitter Betty, Daniel Diamond, Kelly Ford, Tony Baby, and Young Music City. DJs will be Manrelic, Girl Friday, and Afron Sheen. Two well-loved Nashville fashion boutiques, Any Old Iron and Fables By Barrie, will set up pop-up shops on-site, offering ideal opportunities for guests to snag pride-themed accessories for the upcoming month. There will also be a silent auction benefiting the Oasis Center, a local charity dedicated to supporting youth struggling with addiction.

Tickets for the extravaganza, which kicks off at 6PM and is scheduled to run until 2AM, are available via Eventbrite with general admission starting at $43 and meet & greet with Naomi Smalls starting at $65. Event partners include Nashville Pride, Nashville Scene, iHeartRadio, and Chambord.

The festivities continue on Wednesday, June 5 and June 19 with Rooftop Rounds & Rooftop Sounds, an artist showcase created in collaboration with Young Music City, hosted at The Pool Club. This month’s events will feature an all-queer lineup honor of Pride Month. For more information visit youngmusiccity.com.
