Pack your ski gear and dancing shoes because you won’t want to miss out on 3 days of parties, variety shows, brunches and ski events.

The festivities kick off with a flag raising ceremony on Friday March 24th at 6:00pm at the entrance to Blue Mountain Village, followed by a welcome party in the Village hosted by fan favourite drag personalities. The mountain will be open for skiing and snowboarding all day throughout the weekend. In addition to exploring the 43 runs of exciting terrain, raise your flag high and join our team on a special ‘Rainbow Run’ as we guide a group of skiers down Smart Alec on Saturday March 25th and then right into the Event’s Plaza to kick off some interactive entertainment.

Aside from hitting the slopes, take in the welcome ceremony, interactive entertainment, Fireball sampling and après parties in the Events Plaza and at the top of the Mountain and topped off with the Fireball Party at Mother Tongue featuring comedy and DJ party. If you make it up in the morning, the brunch shows will hit the spot and keep the party going.

Celebrate free Canadian winter fun at this epic festival which takes place in the nation’s capital of Ottawa during the first three weekends of February each year! During Winterlude, you can marvel at beautiful ice sculptures, skate alongside thousands of winter enthusiasts on the world-famous Rideau Canal Skateway (a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the largest naturally frozen skating rink in the world as designated by Guiness World Records) and play till you drop in a gigantic snow playground called Snowflake Kingdom. Many other Winterlude activities—indoors and outdoors—highlight Canada's cultural, artistic and culinary diversity.
