Ypsi Pride is an annual event taking place on a Saturday this year, and folks are encouraged to spend a weekend trying nearby cafes and restaurants, finding Michigan-made gifts at indie shops along the way.
Ypsilanti, Michigan is a short drive from Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW), AmTrak train, and by highways I-94, US-23, and US-12. Hotels are close by with easy highway access. It’s located just west of Ann Arbor, Michigan, and is home to Eastern Michigan University, a vibrant arts scene, and carries an authentic community vibe.
Ypsilanti is known for its edgy, funky style, and Ypsi as a whole is a queer-friendly community. You’ll find inviting signs on businesses, the events hosted regularly, and through the eccentric folks you’ll meet. Ypsilanti is inviting and ready to welcome you!
