13th Annual Stone Crab Festival Coming to Naples, Florida

This fall, seafood enthusiasts can satisfy their cravings at the 13th Annual Stone Crab Festival, scheduled for October 27-29, 2023 in the charming resort city of Naples, FL. Held shortly after Stone Crab season begins on October 15, the three-day, family friendly festival includes stone crab races, ice cream eating contests, tours, kids’ activities, craft vendors, live music and a number of local restaurants selling the coveted chilled crustaceans. The festival takes place in Tin City, a funky waterside shopping destination complete with local restaurants, vendors and stunning views. The area occupies an old oyster, clam and fish-processing plant with many shops, restaurants, cafes, a beauty salon and more.

Located just 45 minutes from Naples is Everglades City, which is considered the Stone Crab Capital of the World due to its large production of the seafood delicacy. The city hosts its own Seafood Festival in the middle of Stone Crab Season in February as Stone Crab season runs from October to May each year.

The party kicks off on Friday, October 27th at 5pm with the traditional cracking of the first Stone Claw followed by live music at Tin City by Tobacco Road Band.
