Arosa Gay Ski Week Postponed Until 2022

Due to the COVID-19 situation and as a result of the measures taken by the Federal Council as well as various international regulations, the Arosa Gay Ski Week is unfortunately forced to cancel the 2021 edition, which was planned from 23rd to 30th January.

After extensive discussions with its partners and team members, the organization has decided to postpone the event to January 2022, considering the current situation of insecurity and the various health measures due to the pandemic, which will not allow a satisfying program in January 2021. The safety of guests has always been paramount and they wouldn't like to expose anyone during an event.

Indeed, besides the financial risk for their non-profit organization, the Arosa Gay Ski Week is an LGBTQ+ event with many loyal regulars as well as new participants, from more than 30 countries. What makes the week unique is the opportunity to meet, socialize and have fun during the many events on offer, in addition to the winter sports activities.

The ski season 2020/21 will start as planned in the Swiss resorts at the beginning of December in compliance with all health and safety measures. All of their partner hotels will be open and prepared to welcome guests wishing to ski or snowboard on the slopes of Arosa & Lenzerheide.
