Bob the Drag Queen scored two deserved trophies at the 34th Annual GLAAD Media Awards, for Outstanding Podcast (for Sibling Rivalry, her Studio71 podcast with drag sister Monet X Change) and Outstanding Reality Program (for HBO’s We’re Here). This past weekend’s wins follow the exciting news last week that Bob has also won a Peabody Award and will additionally be a recipient at the upcoming Television Academy Awards taking place May 31, both for the aforementioned HBO docu-series (for which she serves as both a co-host and series producer).
These honors are just a handful of many highlights already this year for Bob the Drag Queen which also includes the creation of her BOMO Beauty brand with Monet X Change that included the launch of a two-sided palette, the release of her debut EP ‘Gay Barz’, a guest speaking appearance on a virtual panel with MoMA, her forthcoming special guest spot on Madonna’s “The Celebration Tour”, and an upcoming brand new comedy stand-up special set to arrive this summer, more details to come.
The alter ego of non-binary comic/actor Caldwell Tidicue, “Bob The Drag Queen” describes herself as “hilarious, beautiful, talented and...humble.” Bob’s unabashed confidence won her the title of “America’s Next Drag Superstar” on season 8 of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” multiple acting roles for HBO, Netflix, Sony Tristar, MTV, and VH1. Bob is represented by UTA and managed by Producer Entertainment Group (PEG).
