Out in the Vineyard’s annual Gay Wine Weekend is poised to welcome a record-breaking crowd of over 1,000 attendees this summer, as LGBTQ+ wine lovers from across the country gather for a celebration of community, culture, and California wine. Taking place throughout Sonoma County, this three-day extravaganza promises an unforgettable experience with new venues, fresh events, and a renewed commitment to supporting local causes.
The weekend’s home base, The Lodge at Healdsburg – A Hilton Tapestry Collection, is already nearing capacity, though visitors can still find accommodations at nearby partner hotels. The exclusive host hotel is just one of many reserved exclusively for Gay Wine Weekend guests, reflecting the scale and popularity of this one-of-a-kind celebration.
Guests will enjoy a packed itinerary of eight distinct events, including luxurious winemaker dinners, immersive wine excursions, lively VIP receptions, and the always-popular Twilight T-Dance—the signature event of the weekend. This year’s festivities are sponsored by La Crema Winery, a longtime supporter of LGBTQ+ initiatives.
“Historically, we've shown that nothing can dim the vibrant spirit of our LGBTQ+ family. We’ve always known how to unite and stand strong, turning adversity into a celebration of resilience,” said Gary Saperstein, founder of Out in the Vineyard. “This year’s Gay Wine Weekend, along with our other fabulous events throughout the year, is all about US—our COMMUNITY. Coming together is where we find our joy, our power, and our resilience.”
Beyond the festivities, Gay Wine Weekend carries a meaningful mission: a portion of proceeds will benefit Face to Face, a Sonoma County nonprofit dedicated to supporting those living with HIV/AIDS.
Attendees can choose from à la carte event tickets starting at $55, or opt for all-access experiences with the VIP Party Pass Package or the Magnum VIP Pass, offering top-tier access to the weekend’s most exclusive events. Weekend packages range up to $1,150 per person, and both tickets and hotel accommodations are selling fast.
