Greater Miami and Miami Beach Selected to Host IGLTA Global Convention in 2027

The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) and the International LGBTQ+ Travel Association (IGLTA) today announced that for the first time in history, the Greater Miami and Miami Beach will host the prestigious IGLTA Global Convention September 27-30, 2027, bringing thousands of tourism professionals from around the world to the destination. 


The annual convention is the leading global educational and networking event for LGBTQ+ tourism, drawing travel advisors, suppliers, destinations, and media from more than 80 countries.

Greater Miami and Miami Beach have been a cornerstone of LGBTQ+ travel for decades, with iconic neighborhoods, year-round cultural programming, and a thriving hospitality scene that embraces visitors from across the globe. From internationally recognized events like Miami Beach Pride to a dynamic arts, culinary, and nightlife landscape, the destination continues to evolve while maintaining its welcoming spirit.

IGLTA is proud to partner with the GMCVB to bring this global gathering to Miami in 2027.”  


The 2027 convention will take place at the Miami Beach Convention Center, a premier meetings facility located in the heart of the destination, offering attendees convenient access to world-class hotels, dining, and cultural experiences.


Beyond the convention, attendees will experience a destination shaped by its rich cultural influences, artistic expression, and welcoming spirit. Greater Miami and Miami Beach continue to invest in programming, partnerships, and storytelling that reflect the voices and experiences of its many communities, ensuring visitors can see themselves represented across the destination.
