This holiday season, Buoy Haus Beach Resort St. Thomas and The Westin St. Thomas Beach Resort invite guests to immerse themselves in a vibrant "Caribbean Carnival Christmas" from November to January. Drawing inspiration from the annual St. Thomas Carnival, the lineup of programming, from daily activations to grand celebrations, offers an all-ages experience that highlights the rich culture, lively music and unique colors of the island. 

“We are thrilled to introduce Caribbean Carnival Christmas to guests of Buoy Haus and The Westin St. Thomas this year, seamlessly blending cherished holiday traditions with the vibrant flair of island celebrations,” says Maria Vilchez, General Manager of Buoy Haus. “Guests can expect an authentic experience at every turn, from the official madras fabric of the U.S. Virgin Islands incorporated throughout the property to Quadrille Nights with traditional Caribbean folk dancing and an electrifying full moon celebration featuring moko jumbies and live music.”

Throughout the month of December, highlights include:

·       Decorated Rooms & Suites (ongoing): Incorporating the magic of the holiday season into the guest room, Buoy Haus guests can enjoy in-room décor including a Christmas tree, festive pillows, mugs and more.

·       Spa Specials (ongoing): For guests looking to indulge in the gift of relaxation, Heavenly Spa at The Westin is introducing a number of festive treatments including a Holiday Spice Massage incorporating seasonal aromas like cinnamon and cloves; Hot Chocolate Collagen Facial; Sweet Peppermint and Rosemary Body Scrub treatment; and Cranberry-Orange mani-pedi.

·       Holiday Hide & Seek (December 1-24): A month-long elf scavenger hunt for festive fun.

·       Weekly Themed Events (ongoing): From "Beach Fiesta" on Tuesdays offering beachside tacos and tequila and "Carnival Quadrille Night" on Thursdays with Caribbean food and traditional folk dancing to "Torches & Tides Beach Party" on Fridays featuring creative cocktails and fire dancers.

·       Signature Celebrations (various): Don't miss the Tree Lighting & Full Moon Party (December 4), featuring moko jumbies, or traditional Caribbean stilt walkers, along with festive music and local cuisine; Miracle on Mainstreet & Boat Parade (December 12), with music, local vendors, festive shopping and more in Charlotte Amalie; and nightly menorah lightings (December 14-21) in the lobby of The Westin to celebrate Hannukah and embrace the Festival of Lights.

·       Santa's Workshop (December 14-January 6): A hub for games, crafts and interactive activities available to enjoy at leisure.

·       Christmas Eve & Christmas Day (December 24 & 25): Choose from an array of activities including a gingerbread house competition, s’mores and bedtime stories read by Santa, a sunset sail with Santa on the hotels’ Flying Frenchman catamaran and various dining offerings including Christmas Eve brunch and dinner followed by Christmas Day brunch and dinner across the hotels’ dining concepts.

·       New Year's Eve (December 31): Choose from an array of activities including a premium pre-fixe menu at Luna Mar and Salt Shack, New Year’s Eve dinner buffet at Shorebird, three-course dinner cruise on the hotels’ Flying Frenchman catamaran and tropical disco NYE party on The Westin Pool Deck.
