Lansing Pride is excited to welcome Orion Story to its lineup of entertainers. Lansing Pride is the community-based non-profit organization hosting the 2023 Lansing Pride Festival in Old Town Lansing on Saturday, June 17th.
Orion Story is the first Michigan-based contestant to join RuPaul’s Drag Race, a reality show centered on being crowned America's Next Drag Superstar, and will be performing twice during the 2023 Lansing Pride Festival.
“Orion is an amazing entertainer, a great person, and we were so thrilled to hear that she could join us! Having the first Michigan girl from Ru Paul’s Drag Race join us is so incredibly exciting for us,” said Dee Jackson, board director with Lansing Pride.
This year’s festival will include performances from local bands and DJ’s, the newly selected Lansing Pride Court, and much, much more. The last fundraiser prior to this year’s festival is on May 26th at the Avenue on Michigan Avenue in Lansing. Doors open to the LANSING PRIDE & DAOM PRESENT: VAMPIRE’S BALL PRIDE GALA event at 7pm, and this 21+ show includes a $10 cover charge.
