Brookhaven, Georgia, is a city that truly blooms in the springtime, with family-friendly festivals and events, delicious casual and upscale dining options, outdoor parks perfect for enjoying the weather, and of course, the iconic Lips Restaurant & Bar.
Brookhaven visitors can soak up the spring sunshine in several local parks and outdoor trails.
The Peachtree Creek Greenway is a 14-foot-wide, ADA-compliant trail built for both walking and biking, offering benches, lighting, and multiple entry points. Lynwood Park is a sports lover’s dream, offering tennis, basketball, and soccer courts, and water features, including a pool and newly constructed splash pad. Ashford Park, a family favorite, also offers a cooling splash pad, along with a vibrant playground, picnic shelters, and more.

Spring dining is a cornerstone of Brookhaven, with a variety of restaurants offering indoor and outdoor patio options, along with menus full of flavorful dishes, refreshing cocktails, and more. HAVEN offers a fresh, seasonal take on American cuisine, with a gorgeous patio to enjoy it on. At Vero, visitors can experience true Neapolitan dining on a Tuscan-inspired patio. Arnette’s Chop Shop is an upscale steakhouse with an enclosed lower-level patio that sets the scene for elevated dining. Terra Terroir offers one of the best covered patios in metro Atlanta, featuring a stunning water feature, lush greenery, and even air conditioning.
Brookhaven’s Blackburn Park also hosts Food Truck Fridays every second Friday of the month from April to June, and those who wish to shop for ingredients and prepare their own springtime menus will enjoy the Brookhaven Farmers Market.
Of course, no visit to Brookhaven is complete without a stop at Lips! Owned and operated by members of the LGBTQ+ community, this drag restaurant is a welcoming space known not only for its performances but for uplifting and honoring LGBTQ+ voices. Lips is fun and high-energy all year round, but it comes alive even more in the spring, especially in June during Pride Month!
