Halloween Haunts in Dutchess County, New York

Happy Valley hosts a bevy of fun events each month, including Queer Speed-Friending with Julie’s Girls Club, the Crappy Craft Club, Board Games & Beer, and various live music events, karaoke nights, and video game contests.

Climb aboard the Estuary Steward tour boat and head to Pollepel Island to tour the ruins of historic Bannerman Castle; the boat ride, which operates through the end of October, offers spectacular views of the Hudson Highlands shrouded in autumn’s colorful splendor.
