Tropicana Las Vegas® is celebrating #TropHoliday with a first-ever Holiday in Paradise outside in the Tropicana Plaza expected to warm the hearts of visitors, locals and much appreciated Las Vegas Strip employees in need of some holiday cheer. Holiday in Paradise will showcase a festival of lights now through Sunday, January 3 featuring more than 25,000 lights covering the corner of Tropicana and Las Vegas Boulevard. Guests will step foot through a lighted archway welcoming them to a 20-foot Christmas Tree flanked by large lighted gift boxes and surrounded by a tropical forest of 25 palm trees and Christmas trees, all adorned with lights. The all ages free holiday experience includes a 10-foot tall live poinsettia photo wall for Instagram-worthy family photos, holiday music playing throughout the plaza and on Fridays and Saturdays starting at 3 p.m., the iconic hotel will offer a holiday pop up bar inside the outdoor Tropicana kiosk serving winter-themed and traditional cocktails, beers, as well as hot cocoa.
“We wanted to celebrate the holidays as safely as possible and provide a much-needed free outdoor holiday experience people of all ages can enjoy,” said Mike Thoma, Assistant General Manager of Tropicana Las Vegas®. “While the holiday season may be uniquely different this year for all of us, the ability to safely visit our over the top Holiday in Paradise full of lights, cheer and decorations is here to usher in hope and happiness for everyone.”
Las Vegas visitors and locals can also expect a rotating calendar of holiday-themed weekend events as a part of Holiday in Paradise such as entertainment from a selection of Vegas entertainers, donation drives supporting Three Square, and special promotions and discounts guests can activate for dining, casino promotions and other activities during Tropicana’s holiday event.
Free Cocoa Weekends* December 4 & 5 and 18 & 19 from 4 to 7 p.m. Holiday in Paradise guests will enjoy Free Hot Cocoa from the outdoor pop up bar kiosk on select dates and times when they snap a picture with the Tropicana marquee in the background, post to a social media account, tag @TropLV, and use hashtag #TropHoliday. Surprise Holiday Musical Performances and Appearances Follow @TropLV on social for dates and times to be announced Celebrate the wonder of the holidays as showgirls, magicians and tribute artists entertain from a safe distance inside the Tropicana outdoor plaza. Updates on dates and times will be shared on the @TropLV social pages for guests to witness various Vegas performers singing Christmas carols and holiday songs or possibly experience live magic.
Tropicana Las Vegas Supports Three Square Las Vegas December 11 from 5 to 8 p.m. Tropicana will offer a drive-thru canned food donation drive at the Tropicana valet area for Three Square, Las Vegas’ local food bank, in an effort to support the Las Vegas community. Three Square Las Vegas works with a service network of community partners to reach struggling individuals and families at risk for hunger. An additional non-perishable food donation location will be located in the main lobby available through the holiday season.
